a question on speed

so uhh... if you had an engine putting out 2100 horsepower at the crank and it was put into a vehicle weighing 4000 pounds, theoretically, what could it's top speed be?

If you ignore drag, you could probably reach 99.99% of c, given enough time

LOL

But seriously you gave us insufficient information to answer your question. The vehicle's weight actually counts for very little when it comes to vmax.

i'm not really looking for anything specific, just wanting a ballpark answer, hence the lack of info, but i might as well say, how about in a straight line on the planet earth at about 500 feet above sea level?

Re: a question on speed

Are we talking a flat-nosed city bus or an F1 car in terms of shape?

Re: a question on speed

I guess anywhere from 200-250mph or so depending on of you run the engine hot, have any down force or aero, and which wheels are driving the car. It could be a lot less. It's not likely to be a lot more.
