Re: Automation Live For Speed Race

I will try to make it but I have semester finals next week so I might be studying, but it's likely we have finished for the day at that time.
And sadly my wheel is at my parents so if I join I will be racing with the keyboard. :(

BTW 21:30 CET is 20:30 GMT

I'll do my best to join you guys, there even is a slight probability that I'll arrive with a teammate.

Damn, I was fucking flying through laps 24-35. Consistency takes the cake though, congrats Squidhead!

Re: Automation Live For Speed Race [RESULTS POSTED]

I had the consistency part, but it was consistently bad :D

Shame. I could have had 3rd or 4th if it weren't for me having to do something else for a minute :P

Re: Automation Live For Speed Race [RESULTS POSTED]

I'm perfectly happy with the result, especially considering I was using the default setup.

I'm also more than happy with laptime consistency between laps 12 and 37.

When's the next race?

I really had my time conversion off. I wouldn't have been available when you ran, but I was going to give it a shot.

That's cause I exited the pits and got right back on your tail. You got motivated to gun it :D
And yeah, usually finish high enough by being consistent enough.

And I would have broken the gap open too, if it wasn't for that meddling front right tyre :D . I really need to turn my brake pressure down, but hey, you can only do so much on keyboard.

Also, what happened to you on lap 7?

For me it was cold tyres on lap 2, contact with Cobaltgirl on laps 10 and 17, and the blown tyre on 40.

You probably would, but keeping temp with you caused an slow overheat in tires, so I backed off, decided to play safe, and then caught some traffic.

Re: Automation Live For Speed Race [RESULTS POSTED]

Really? I only popped it because I'm forced to turn in while full on the brakes because of the keyboard. Temps were green the entire time.

And maybe next weekend if you guys want to.
