I hope you don't mind me asking, if you'll ever see this post, why did you put GO, TO, and mo/s instead of GB, TB, and mb/s respectively? I noticed that the o's were only added where b's were supposed to be.

My system:
AMD A4-5300B APU
AMD Radeon HD 7480D
4GB DDR3
500GB HDD
20GB HDD
Windows 7 Professional

He must be French (like me). The "o" stands for "octet", the french word for "byte"

So, there's my system :

Core i5-2500K @ Stock (but I have benched it at 4.8 GHz a few times)
12 GB DDR3 PC 12800 (4x2 + 2x2)
Intel DP67BG
GeForce GTX 780 (@1002 MHz without Boost)
BeQuiet 750 W 80PLus Gold Power Supply
Corsair 600T White case
Some Random DVD burner
Corsair K90 keyboard + Logitech G500 Mouse
Eizo FS 2332 screen + Some 23" from AOC.

----Storage ----
SSD Intel 320 Series 160 GB
Velociraptor 300 GB (10k rpm)
Caviar Black 500 Go (x2)
Seagate 7200.14 2To

I also have a 13 inch laptop with a Core i5-2520M processor, 6 gigs of ram a 128 GB SSD and a radeon 6630M GPU?

Motherboard: ASUS Z87-K
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 270X
8 Gb ram
128 Gb SSD
2 Tb hard disk

Midrange stuff that's just enough to run most of the games I want at 1080p resolution, I'm using a 22 inch HD TV as my monitor so I have no need for higher resolutions right now. I'll probably add more memory and a better GPU soon, though. Depends largely on what the system requirements for Fallout 4 will be.

My rig is horribly outdated and I've been too lazy/busy/cheap to build a new one for now. That's not to say it isn't powerful enough though. I probably will update it in a year or so.

Re: Computer specs

So, I've been off from work the past week and decided it was time to replace the old Athlon desktop with something more modern. Besides, I really needed to stop using my laptop for everything. Here's what I got.

TC-102 Mid-Tower ATX case
Gigabyte Z-97X-SLI LGA 1150 ATX Motherboard
Intel i7 4790 LGA1150 CPU (3.6GHz, quad-core)
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO heatsink
Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600 (8GBx2)
MSI GeForce GTX960 OC 2GB
Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA III hard disk
Asus 24x DVD-RW SATA III
Cooler Master G750M 750W power supply
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (I know 10 will be out soon)

So, after working with this case, I'm a little undecided about what I think. I had an ATX full-tower case before, with lots of room inside to manage cables and work on hard disks. While this one is much smaller and lighter, it is also MUCH more cramped inside. Just got it up and running, and still working on some of the updates.
