Automation Radio

Hi guys,

A few of us in the IRC came up with an idea last night, and this is just to check if there is any interest, so feel free to jump in with encouragement or a torrent of abuse.

As anyone who uses Grooveshark might know, it allows any users to create broadcasts, which work a bit like a simplified radio station. We had the idea that there would be different people rotating into the "DJ" seat at different times, or potentially different people running recurring slots of differing themes. For example, I might do a Eurobeat Hour, or Pleb might do a Modern Rock hour, things like that, with just general tunes mixed in selected by different community members. We could also use the IRC as a platform for taking requests for example.

As I mentioned above, if this sounds like a good, bad or indifferent idea, please do post. If it gets enough interest I will try and start to organise a rotation.
