Very active BMC/Leyland/Rover website/community.

http://www.aronline.co.uk/

Figured you guys might find this interesting; an exhaustive database of everything Austin-Rover staffed by frankly obsessive fans of the brand (like me.) has everything from brochure scans to essays and what-ifs.

Might be somewhere to spread the word about Automation.

But that usually is not a problem if you first ask a forum moderator first :) If you are reasonable and eloquent about it, they usually are open to such things (and you don't risk getting your intrawebz azz handed to you by angry forum members :P)

Aye, this game would certainly be popular with some of them, that much is obvious even if you just glance at the site. :)

Ah...good old AROnline, great site imho.
I visit it once in a while, even if it's just to check out some of the newest additions to the members' garages.

People have to got to have some respect for you BMC-guys, especially for keeping those oldies on the road.
It's still a shame though that a once grand automotive company ended up this way, thanks to the management.

Aye theres many a theory as to what actually killed Leyland, everything from Soviet infiltrators to bumbling government to striking workers to inefficient management.
