Downloading timing out

Hey, any way you guys can improve your launcher? I keep having it time out on me during the download, last time I had only 20mb remaining. EXTREMELY frustrating.

Re: Downloading timing out

We will have a look into this.

Typically this seems to be caused by firewall issues though, so that might be worth looking into

Re: Downloading timing out

Ok, so I got it downloaded, and it said it needed to install directx, so I let it, it didn't install right, so I quit it, and tried to start automation through the launcher and it said I needed to download again! I have slow internet so I don't exactly have the time. HELP.

Re: Downloading timing out

Are you running any kind of firewall? Because as said, that has caused a few people issues in the past.

I'll get Zeussy to have a further look into this tonight.

Disabled firewall, trying to Download again, going to install in diff location, see if that helps. I'll post results stat.

Re: Downloading timing out

Same thing happened, directx didn't install (couldn't trust cryptographic), And then the same thing happens.

Re: Downloading timing out

Also, is there a way I can access the install .exe after I have downloaded it through the launcher? (Win 7) I'd like to not have to go through this again and again.

Re: Downloading timing out

I'll get Zeussy to investigate when he gets home tonight, seems like this one might be a slightly more complex issue

Re: Downloading timing out

I found the problem, downloaded directx 11 redis, and then installed the full version, works now.
