game crashes on launch

hey, so for the past few days i haven't been on automation and i've tried to launch it but it just crashes upon launch, don't even get to the options menu, just double click the icon and i'm instantly taken to "automation has stopped working"
EDIT: i'm not sure if the gamelog will be of much help, it seems left over from the last successful launch

Can you try to repair your install?
The log doesn't correspond to "crash on start" so it indeed is from a previous launch, although there is a gfx driver crash in there I see.

i literally reinstalled the game and it is still crashing on launch, i will note that i'm always using the desktop icon to launch the game

What happens if you move your Automation folder away from Documents\My Games\ and then try to launch the game? Same issue?

Have you changed your hardware or drivers recently?
Could you send us (

That Gamelog.txt is from your last working playthrough of Automation. Could you delete the Gamelog.txt from My Documents\My Games\Automation and see if it makes a new one? And submit it here.

it has not, still went straight into automation launcher has stopped working and then closes after a second

Ok, I need to get a clearer understanding of when it is crashing. And what if anything the error message says.
I assume we are talking about the stand-alone version, and not the Steam version.
So this is the Launcher itself crashing? So it crashes before you get a chance to click Play Game or Options? Or is it crashing immediately after pressing Play Game?

no i have the steam version, and i don't get the options to play game, i just douple click the icon and i get presented with the error

Alright, start it from your Steam Library then and go via the Options Menu, you get a selection then which asks you if you want to launch via the menu or not.

So you are double clicking it from Steam, not some other shortcut on your desktop or anything.
Try launching it in Steam without the Launcher/Options menu. It seams very strange for the launcher to be broken though.
