V12 Engine Freezes

Whenever I try to make a V12 engine run, the game freezes and I have to restart it. It's a clean sheet design, I'm not trying to modify an existing design into a V12 or anything.

It's an error message like that. Even when I clear it the game never lets the engine run though.

Yeah, that's probably the valve float failure bug.
If you reduce the redline enough it should stop happening.
Although I am pretty sure it's fairly high on the devs list of things to fix.

Is the valve float bug because I destroyed the engine, or just that I damaged it?

Re: V12 Engine Freezes
the bug is that going to setting the redline beyound the maximum float point of the engine results in a math error right now. Lowering the redline below that point will resume normal calculations.
I recomend when building an engine to turn the default redline down before you finish the build, than tweek it up to the desired level once you have it running. (if you want to avoid the error message)
If you run into that error, you do not need to close the game, just close the error box, and lower the redline.
