Issues with Wheelwells and Fixtures saving correctly

Hey guys,

For the past month or so, I've had several car designs have issues with wheel wells staying the same size and fixtures staying. I will set the wheel-wells to a certain width, set the tire width, and everything's fine! However, save, come back, and they are back to the original width. Seems to mostly occur on cars with multiple trims. I have tried making the wheel-wells large to begin with, but it still happens.

Same with fixtures. I've had several cars that show the fixtures correctly in the primary body/fixture editor. Then as soon as you progress into trim fixture and beyond, they all disappear! Go back, and there they are again.

I'm guessing this has something to do with the saving/reconstruction of vehicles by the game. Saving glitches are less severe than before, no more LUA errors upon reopening. But there still seem to be some glitches with loading saved cars and things changing.

I've attached 2 cars that demonstrate the issue

The Kirk Ashura is the car with the wheel well issues. I've tried to make the wheel wells big enough to accomidate 205mm tires about 10x, but every time I save and come back, they are back to smaller wheel wells and 165-175mm tires.

The Picachu with the trim City-Chu is the one with the fixture issue.
Go to the beginning of the car design phases, and you'll see a cute mouse face on the car. Continue on, and it disapeaers!

The only mods I have are ones from the Steam Workshop. I'm guessing it's possible they are causing these issues as well. In which case, I may just get rid of them all for now. But this has bothering me enough to post it as potential bugs.

I hope this is helpful and thanks for the hardwork on the fantastic game!

I had problems too, until I found the buttons on the second fixtures window, bottom left of the window. It might also be on the first one I'll look later.

One of the buttons sets the fixtures as default for that model, the other one pulls the default for that model.

Re: Issues with Wheelwells and Fixtures saving correctly

Thanks for the reply!

Yes, that was it. I happened to watch a missed Little Dev Update, and the mentioned that!

One button is for copying trim settings to the model, and the other goes the other way.

Glad this 'bug' has already been addressed. =D
