Changing the price on any car will crash the game.

What error message do you get when doing that (changing price)? Is this on a newly built car or an old one from the previous big update?

Killrob, this is the error code that I posted here http://automationgame.com/phpBB3/viewto ... =20#p83178
It doesn't crash your game in windowed mode.

This little error showed up, accidentally click the right arrow button ( that goes from your cars to company cars) in the companies section with no company selected but that could just be might fault.

Have a few bugs to report, will have more tomorrow.

Image

I get this one when I try to change paint tone (or select one of the 9 default colors). I'm sure it's come up while doing other things, but I can't remember right now.

Image

This one was definitely game-breaking. It comes up when I do basically anything in the engine editor. Selecting conrod type, adjusting compression, choosing valve cover, anything. You name it, and it throws this up. If I'm trying to change bore for example, it pops up when I click the slider so I basically can't adjust bore.

Image

This last one is another common one. It just recently came up while selecting drive configuration, but will happen when clicking the arrow to go to the next screen (and it sometimes will go to the next screen, but more often than not it will not do anything but freeze the game).

One more bug that doesn't throw a .lua error is that when I try to revise a car (to change the engine, for example) it'll go to the fixture/chassis editor like normal, but when I click the "Engine" tab at the bottom, the game will jump to it for a split-second then it will jump back to the first screen (where you choose frame type and stuff). If I try to close the editor from here, the game will freeze solid. This happens on the last stable release and is not exclusive to the Open Beta, however.

Of course, these could all be happening because of my PC's specs or Windows 10, which wouldn't surprise me.

Thanks for all the bug reports so far! That is really helpful.
We just pushed live a new update for the open beta. I have updated the OP with the changelog.
Cheers!

I was building that leightweight sportscar from the late seventies, that square ferarri looking thing. I put in a 2.4 litre V6 in it.

Also, I got this error while selecting the closed grille to create a place for a license plate:

Cant place fixtures, if they are from other place, than first visible row. If i click to use those, that are under, they are not clickable nor placable.

Something seems to have happened to many of my Scenarios, they're just completely gone. Upon clicking on a Scenario category I'm also presented with this Lua error:

  Code:
tolua++ dbcall failed!: [string "--SANDBOX_DATA\CEngineCalculator_PartsManagem..."]:56: attempt to index a nil value

(By the way, I never realized you guys were using tolua++! Your usage of Lua is very cool, I've worked with a different game's engine that made heavy usage of Lua scripting and it's junk compared to your guys' stuff)

Not sure if it is a Open Beta bug because i only got time to play now, anyway, i'm using an very old ATI card (X1800GTO) because my newer card died and got this "small wheel" bug:
http://abload.de/img/legatumserreta-2400-1zvsz5.png

FPS wise the game runs fine on medium details with this old card, which is very nice! The only problem is this damn bug... :(
Dxdiag.txt file is attached to the post.

I'm getting the fixture issue as well; nothing below page one in the body editor is selectable.

Got the following error when I tried placing a badge on the front (after placing the badge on the rear):

  Code:
---------------------------
Lua Error:
---------------------------
tolua++ dbcall failed!: [string "--client\functional\PlatformDesignerWindowDel..."]:432: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got nil)

You can CTRL+C on this to report it.
---------------------------
OK

Not sure if it's a feature or a bug, but I can't seem to use engines bigger than around 2.0L in any rear-engined cars.

This is normal and is also an issue IRL.

The problem is that because of the way the engine is mounted, the engine bay is very short. I'd reccomend using V6-8 if you want anything somewhat large.

There is a reason why VW and Porsche used mainly flat engines in their rear-engined cars :)

Here are some bugs I've had found:

I make a new car company, add some cars, and then I delete some of the cars, when I try to edit the company I get this message:

  Code:
---------------------------
Lua Error:
---------------------------
tolua++ dbcall failed!: [string "local serpent = require('serpent')..."]:133: attempt to index a nil value

You can CTRL+C on this to report it.
---------------------------

or this one, if I try to delete it
  Code:
---------------------------
Lua Error:
---------------------------
tolua++ dbcall failed!: [string "--client\functional\QuestionBox.lua..."]:58: attempt to call method 'MessageBoxNo' (a nil value)

You can CTRL+C on this to report it.
---------------------------

Also, when I use a 70s coupe body (from the workshop) in the last test tab, if a click on "design" i get this message (I haven't test all the bodies to see if other one has the same issue)
  Code:
---------------------------
Lua Error:
---------------------------
tolua++ dbcall failed!: [string "--client\functional\TrimDesignerWindowDelegat..."]:3231: attempt to index field 'Tags' (a nil value)

You can CTRL+C on this to report it.
---------------------------

I also notice some minor graphic bugs.
Like this one (in all carburetors):
Image
Image

Or this hole in the 60sCoupe02 that appears when I place a grill fixture on the body
Image
Image

And finally, this odd size calculations.
Even though this V6 MFI is shorter than this L6 MFI (same specs), I can't fit it in the same engine bay.

And that will be all :D
(Sorry for my english, it's not my native language).

Scratch all of this, I couldn't remember the actual number. I actually properly tested it, and the biggest V8 I could shoehorn in one of the rear-engined chassis was 1415cc. I suppose this is around the size that early aircooled VW motors were, but Porsche can get 3L+ motors in smaller cars.

Gotta hold out for flat engines I suppose.
