True that many more games are written for the windows platform, and that's partly down to legacy. This isn't supposed to be a Apple/ IBM debate string, and my outlook is to let everyone enjoy their own choices... diversity brings evolution.
As a small games developer, it may just be too much of an investment to consider amending the scripts for 'the lesser mac' as well. That is a shame for me and others on alternative platforms as this particular game doesn't require a custom spec machine with stratospheric levels of computing power.
Again I say, good luck to the developers in pursuing this great game concept. Windows users, enjoy it... and let me know what it's like.

Well, according to our site statistics, 4% of all our visitors and Mac based in the last month, and if we count just new visitors it makes 6%. I know quite a few people who have brought macs, but run windows it on, because they like the build quality, which is fair enough.

I think that most Mac owners who play games will have a windows emulator/virtual machine/whatever the cool kids run these days.

most vastly overestimate their marketshare. Once they are running Windows they are not running a mac but a limited hardware PC.

As a quasi-Mac fan but PC gamer, 25 percent is VASTLY overrating Apple's computer market share for home use. Remember that Macs are used in the office too, the most use I ever got out of them was in an educational setting.

OK so far, but the important bit is really what graphics card you have

Not sure about that one, I suspect it might be too slow, but I'll see what I can find out, what games have you been able to run on it so far?

Ok, yeah, that isn't going to run it, by the looks of it its just basic onboard graphics and not really capable of much gaming work.

If you can't run other modern 3d games on it, you won't be able to run Automation on it

It's pretty slow, but I've got one in one of my machines, and tbh, it'll run most modern stuff so long as you don't mind lower settings and aren't running a silly-res screen.

Might work OK in "Conan mode" - with charmingly retro blockyness! :)

Well it plays EVE, CoD, and Duke Nukem, BF2142, etc, all pretty happily on mine so long as you don't go mad on the quality options, but it is paired up with a 4ghz quad core to help out :)

Saying that, I've just replaced it with a 5850, so..
(Although, still use it to drive a second monitor for movie playback, etc, at the side)
