slow game after V8 came

after upgrading to the V8 package my laptop have some issues running the game smoothly. I noticed that some DirectX files were updated.

For some reason my classification dropped from 5,0 to 4,4. control panel says that I've added new hardware, which I didn't.

specs are:

dell vostro 3500 laptop

i5 m 560 processor
6gb ram
W7 pro

The game will run, but its very slow.
Any logical explanation??

Have you gone into the options (in the launcher) and dragged the Quality slider all the way to the right, we added a new higher resolution mode that is more of a future proof option. Put the Quality slider to the first or second setting on the left.
