2 Stroke V8s

Today I am asking if we will ever be receiving 2 stroke V8s?
Now your asking what is a 2 stroke V8? Well heres a video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RoiWpJLokEc

Now your asking well that is probably a purpose built drag racing engine and this is about building cars for the people. Actually no. Heres the motor in the car.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/EARLY-90s-EVINR ... bP&vxp=mtr

Now your saying well thats a boat motor, this is a car game, thats were you get me, it is a boat motor but it would be fun to have.

Thanks for looking

Re: 2 Stroke V8s

Lol! Given the scope of the game is about covering the common bases of production car building, that'd fall pretty far outside the scope. Also I'm not sure where that'd fit on the UI!

Ya I guess , but a man can only dream lol.
There are some pros for these engines tho, they can have some very good pwer to weight ratios.
and of course there are also cons, they eat gas very quickly.

Re: 2 Stroke V8s

As supremely interesting as that car/motor combo is, definitely outside of the scope of Automation.

Although, and I don't recall if I've said this before, I'd pay full price all over again for a DLC or expansion with air-cooling and two-stroke options.

The v8 in Ariel Atom V8 weigh the same and has the same power.... and the exhaust needed on a high power 2-stoke is insanely large.

I agree, it would have a most difficult time moving a container ship.
