How to play outdated version?

Hi
I have just got my notebook back after a lengthy repair. I was waiting for the HDMI to be fixed for about two months and they decided to send me a new notebook instead. So I have been without a notebook for about three months so obviously haven't had a chance to update Automation. I am currently using the stand alone launcher., Automation Launcher Build: 52 - Automation Game Build 150328.

It was running three months ago, but now when I run it, it asks "Update for launcher found, update now?"
If I select no, it closes.
If I turn my wifi off so it can't check online, it says "Error, the remote name could not be resolved: 'game.automation.com'
When I click play game, it says
"Error Contacting Login Server, Unable to Connect. Would you like to proceed offline?"
If I click Yes, it says "Invalid Key" and the game closes.

What can I do to get this old build running? I have a review roundup that I would like to do and want to at least open those cars before updating.

Thanks.

What was the solution to this one? I keep getting asked to update and when i try to, for 2 weeks now, it starts updating and then gets part way through and says its unable to complete, then closes. I cant get onto the game.

Re: How to play outdated version?

I have experienced issues like this in the past. Somewhere on the forum is a link to a standalone downloader. (I looked for the link one of the devs posted for me but it was over a year ago and no longer works). There was a torrent option but I can now only find an outdated link that doesn't work. I suppose the lengthiest but most likely surefire solution is to uninstall and reinstall using the standalone launcher. That link does work and can be found here: http://www.automationgame.com/2015/03/2 ... n-b150328/

I too like the standalone version as I don't use steam.
