Will we get unrestricted turbos? Or am I missing something?

Hello, I was wondering why the turbo size seems to be restricted, while you could possibly run a much larger turbo to get even more performance (example for this would be the 76mm compressor 75mm exhaust turbo from Precision, which would be adequate for the replica I was trying to make a 2JZ-GTE 1000hp build, but this does not seem like I can match the spec.

The largest turbo I can run as of right now is 70/72. I would prefer even larger ones.

This is of course assuming I didn't miss any form of vital information of this.

Thanks.

Can't find where the answer was, but I'm sure that it's a matter of exhaust header.
For a matter of space at the moment there is no way to house bigger turbos. Once the turbo system will be revised, they'll implement also new exhaust headers that will allow bigger turbo.

AFAIK the current turbo system is based off of 1980s technology, it will be reworked in the future bur for now this is what we have. Also from what the devs have said turbos are VERY hard to get the calculations correct.

Also, the turbo size is linked to the size of a single cylinder. That is why you get the same turbo size for a 2l 4cyl as for a 3l 6cyl engine. Or even a 4l v8, but then it's 2 turbos.
So the 6 cyl is behind the other two, in terms of max turbo size. :(

(gonna be better when the turbo v6 appears)

I've read somewhere that the V6 will be released without turbo. The forced inducted V6 will be available once the turbo system will be revamped.

Turbos for the V6s will come before the turbo update :) but yes, we release the NA V6s first.
