Here's a quick look at their Facebook page, it proves that they are active, and it also proves that Daffyflyer does run the Devstream (And in that stream, Daffy was working on some new car bodies. Which also proves that they are actively working to add content to the game). And, if you don't mind me asking, how would you know whether or not they run the devstream if you've only been here for 2 days? Not trying to be offensive or anything, I just found it odd.

Patience is key. Just put it this way: The more time the devs spend on the game, the more time they have to make it awesome.
Anyway, I'm done here.

I don't see a screenshot? Did you mean to attach one? Maybe post a link to the screenshot instead?

Yes, patience in waiting for updates is good. BUT, the devstream/livestream records show no new or recent activity at all.

Again, all I need is some proof, from someone is is authorized to represent the game, that it is still in development. Thats all. I love the game. But it ain't worth $35 if all I'll ever have is a V* and a turbo with no blow-off sound.

Re: Has development been halted?

Im not replying to this anymore. This is ridiculous. Let KillRob say his thing. I think we spoke enough and there is pretty much nothing we can do to convince Mr. Stubborn the game is still in production, not even when you are a betatester (Leonardo and Pleb).

He is just trolling.

I think pretty much any one of us here has the 'authority' to give you the assurance that the game is still being worked on. Me and Leonardo are both beta testers for the game, and it's our job to make sure that the public release of this update is playable so that people don't get mad about bugs and such. And Wizzy has beta tested this game in the past, and also produced car bodies for this game. If that's not enough proof that the game is indeed still in development, then I don't know what is.

Your name is nowhere on the home site. Forgive me if I reserve judgement.

I will wait to hear from someone whose identity is being confirmed as being part of development, i.e., any of these people. https://automationgame.com/contact/

(Zeussy, Daffyflyer, Nortala, Killrob)

All I want is some proof I didn't waste my money. Again, that is a valid question. If you guys feel like turning that into an argument, go ahead. I really don't care. I have enough patience to wait about a week for a response from someone with authority.

Re: Has development been halted?

The game is certainly still in development. You can't assume that, just because the devs have not posted an update recently, it does not mean that development is halted. All of the core team was recently in Germany for a highly important meeting between them, and the core of the testing team. Naturally, you can't assume that a very small team can make an AAA quality game at the same speed that a larger company could make it.

It IS on Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=93233471

Typically, the devs are able to not just post a little written update each week, but also a narrated video outlining the game's progress.

Everyone who you have been discussing this with

a) Is a beta-tester.
b) Was a beta-tester.
c) Me, who will hopefully be a beta-tester at some point.

And, since we have all been following the progress of the game, can certainly confirm development has not been halted.

My name is on the in-game credits, go and check it out yourself. I would send a screenshot, but I am not on my computer now.

Does Leonardo's beta-tester star not confirm his participation? Does this page not show that Pleb beta-tests as well? I am sure that any member of this community will tell you that me and Wizzy are very knowledgeable about the game, and its development.

This is getting ridiculous.

Thanks for the Steam link. I have no idea why it didn't show up on the Steam dashboard.

The latest "update" video, which was 2 weeks old, showed no improvement.

Again, its really really simple. I will wait to hear from a developer about the progress of the game as it currently stands.

No matter how much you complain about it, I'm still going to wait to hear from an adult who is officially part of the development team.

That simple.

Stop trying to turn it into an argument. I spent money. I found out there hasn't been an update since April. So, I am ASKING THE DEVELOPERS, as is the title of the Forum this is posted in, if the game is still in development.

Plain and simple.

I don't see your name on there, anywhere.

...

And no, a Forum "star" isn't proof of anything except you have a fancy star on your forum name.

AGAIN, its really simple. I am waiting to hear from a developer. SIMPLE.

Stop turning this into an argument.

Right here, buddy:

And yes, the star is just a star, and means nothing, but the text underneath that reads "Beta Tester", may or may not be important, depending on your sanity level.

Edit: The problem is YOU. You are the one disputing the validity of the testers' status, and denying that the game is in development.

Killrob/Zeussy/Daffy, please end this madness.

Re: Has development been halted?

First of all, I see real names on that screenshot. Not forum names. So no, still don't see a name.

And I could care less if you are or are not a beta tester. No matter how important you think you are, you are NOT a developer.

Stop attacking me for asking the developers a question.

I don't understand how so many people can ignore such a simple concept.

I posted in the "Ask A Developer" forum, and then asked the developers if the game is still in production, and what improvements have been made since the last update.

I will not take an answer from anyone except one of the four developers.

Period.

I dont care how important you are because you are one of 10.000 buying the game with your 35 $, but betatesters work on the game on a DAILY basis, testing DAILY updates on the game, made by the developers. They definetly contribute an important part to DEVELOPING the game. Its pretty short-sighted and ignorant calling a beta-tester someone who is not part of the development team, as they pretty much help the development of the game into making it a stable and bugfree game.

But sure. Wait for a dev to get here, reply, and tell you the exact same thing in one post all of us told you two to three times already.

I could care less whether or not a Beta tester does a minute of work, or a million hours. They still aren't a developer, they are an employee, or a contributor, or whatever you want to call it.

Its so simple, and yet you people can't seem to understand. I am not asking you. I am not asking any Beta tester. I am not asking the trolls. I am asking a direct question to the developers.

And unlike you, I really hope the developers have the intelligence to spot a simple question/concern.

Me: "is the game still in development" "what changes have been made since April"
Developer "yes we are still in development, although progress is slow. We have fixed a few gltiches and wil be adding blah blah blah update in 2 weeks blah blah blah"

I don't need a bunch of noise and arguments from trolls and beta testers. i asked the developers a question. they will answer it, or they won't. the rest of you have no place to answer a question that wasn't asked to you.
