Yes, I mean the rumours like these:
Lower displacement engine definitely means better fuel economy.
Turbine is just superb.
Double-clutch gearbox can beat AT on all aspect.
Heavier car must be safer than the lighter one, regardless their frame design.......
By spreading these rumours openly or imperceptibly, you might give your car some unfair advantage.
Well, maybe not just the bad ones, you may also try something like to promote seat bealt in 1950s , be an environmentalist and try to sell fuel-eco car in 1960s. focuing on active safety systems in 1980s or so.
