Advanced Camera Settings and Scenery

1. Would it be possible to add advanced camera settings like the focal length?

2. Possibility to change the background scenery and give the option for different lightning settings. -> Has a lot of potential for community content.

I think that would open new possibilities of showcasing and sharing your designs.

Think of it as a photo mode as found in other racing sims.

Re: Advanced Camera Settings and Scenery

I've asked this at some point. There was no answer on the matter, since I am guessing, this matters to only a few people

Re: Advanced Camera Settings and Scenery

I guess the most difficult part would be where to integrate those settings into the UI, since the functionality should be already there, technically speaking. But i could be wrong on this.

I image different camera settings and sceneries would be an addition to the game. I agree that people will be not specifically asking for this, but you could integrate the photo mode not just for pictures but also integrate into as a part of the campaign. Image you go into production or sale you see your car in a showroom, or on a podium at a press event etc.

Re: Advanced Camera Settings and Scenery

To implement this in a meaningful way would take a while. As it is purely cosmetic and a "would be nice to have" thing, it is far down on the list of priorities. Will be easier to do in Unreal Engine though.
