Some ideas and suggestions

1: Would it be possible to make it so you can change each gear ratio independently instead of (or alongside) adjusting them collectively via the gear spacing slider?
2: Can you introduce continuously variable valve timing alongside your current VTEC-style VVT? It would help smooth out power and torque curves, and is fitted to most modern cars. It could work like the current VVT sliders by pinning maximum and minimum cam profiles to the engine and then smoothly varying the profile between the two settings as the rpm increases.
3: 0-160km/h times would also be quite nice to add.
4: Have quad turbos and twincharging already been mentioned?

More suggestions may be added here if not found easily elsewhere in the forum.

Re: Some ideas and suggestions

Nice ideas and suggestions, however, they're so interesting that they have been asked before, so you should check the FAQ and the search funtion to get answers.

1 Independenly gear ratios: No, it's complicated and really not changes much, only make it more difficult to some extend. And after playing a while, you see that the current system is pretty practical viewtopic.php?f=14&t=5428&hilit=gear+ratios memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=30169

2 That is a good sugestion, however it will require a lot of work, maybe it'll be adressed on the planned engine designer overhaul --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAZP2Rlq43c

3 meh

4 Yes, very often acctually. Just search them in the advanced search  viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9283

Re: Some ideas and suggestions

Quick suggestion: Increase maximum bore and stroke to 130mm. The Dodge Cummins 6.7 has a 124mm stroke, and isn't exactly exotic or excessively rare. Would this be possible without screwing up the performance/economy calculations?

Tried checking the advanced search for 4 and didn't see it in the first couple of pages for some reason.

Quad-turbos: here viewtopic.php?f=15&t=9127&hilit=quad
Twincharging: As far as I know, this hasn't been confirmed, but neither ruled out. It's been asked before in pretty much in 2 out of 3* turbo sugestions, however I don't recall the devs saying it won't happen. Probably we will get twincharging as a DLC.

* Figurative numbers

1 word.

Dizel.

Also, while it is somewhat common and used in the Dodge Ram, the engine was initially designed for commercial trucks.

Those engines are also multivalve OHV, an other thing that isn't really used much in other engines.
