Front Leaf Suspension

How about front leaf suspensions, they were still used in 40-50's cars.

Re: Front Leaf Suspension

There will be some front solid axle suspension coming, but we have not fully decided which configuration(s).

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer used this configuration all the way up to 1991 as well. It's a much wider range.

Exactly, I think some cars still use them to these days. We really need a solid front suspension and fast, Mac's are not a really good choice for mega low cost cars.

I guess they're also very durable and a great choice for an offroader?

Front solid axles are very much used for off-roading, to the point where people will change their front independent suspension for it when making a serious off-roader. The Land Cruiser had that into the late 90s, so while front leaf suspension might be mostly found on ancient cars, there have been other solid axels in the very recent past.
