What about a model copy feature so we could copy the platform and then change it while keeping the fixtures?
That way we could have for example. A mass production model with macperson and torsion beam and stell panels and a limited production model with alluminion body and all round double wishbone suspension. While having the same general design and body shape.
Also the same for when we want to have the same model with different wheelbases. For example, limo versions.

And also would be cool if this cases had some affinity between them in order to reduce costs.

The same platform have different suspention may be rare. But what about the evolution of platform?

Now we have the engineering mode, and we could see we have to got something like 3~10 years to build a total new platform, But what about take an old chassis and improve it with some new tech? Changing a suspention could lead to a new platform and a new factory line, but it could save some time compare to design a chassis from sketch.

The plans is to already take into account tech you have already developed and used.
So if you already build cars with front McPherson strut and rear torsion beam and you design a new one with the same setup, then engineering time for those elements would be reduced compared to the 1st time you use them.
However, this is not yet implemented

Correct, the tracking is obviously not yet implemented, the functionality already is in though.

AFAIK Volkswagen does that. On the new MQB platform, cars with an engine under 2 l get MacPhersons and the ones with 2 l and bigger get multilink.

This would be a nice idea so you could have your Ford Focus GL in one model and then the RS as a separate model without having to try and redo it from scratch.
