Ability to shear fixtures

Currently we can rotate, resize and flip fixtures. It would be great to be able to shear them as well

The main use would be to get more uses out of existing side vents to get more varied shapes so people can be even more creative

Off topic but I've never heard someone call it "shearing"...

Re: Ability to shear fixtures

While it would be a "nice" feature, I really don't think it would be used a lot and it adds little considering how much extra effort it is to make this work properly. So I think this is a "no." :)

Re: Ability to shear fixtures

Or, to be clear, I think a small number of users would use this feature a lot! But it does seem like it would take a LOT of effort. Which is why I myself have refrained from making any requests about fixture manipulation.

Re: Ability to shear fixtures

The other significant issue (speaking as someone who would absolutely use this feature a lot) is that it would complicate the interface, making things quite a bit more difficult for ordinary users. I'd love to have the full array of linear transformations available, and I'm guilty myself of proposing even more difficult suggested features, but yeah ... the game needs to be fairly accessible.
