Engines and airflow?

Why do my engines become so slow when I have alot of airflow? My engine needs 326, but my car gets around 1000 airflow. That makes the end result of my 525 HP V12 a pathetic top speed of 250 km/h, and a sluggish-ish acceleration at 4.3.

Re: Engines and airflow?

It's airflow to the engine, cooling airflow increases drag. Reducing the airflow slider to about double the required for good reliability or going lower reduces the reliability a bit but you get more top speed.
