How do I upload my family of customer engines?

Need some help with this, guys..

So I just finished designing an entire family tree of performance V8 engines.
Now I would like to upload the engines on a separate thread so other people could try them out and test them on their own car designs.

Which files do I need to include and what the .zip structure needs to be? Or could I get away with simple .lua files instead of zipping?

Basically I have 6 engine families I'd like to upload; representing the evolution of the "customer engine" through years 1973-2015.

So how do I do this?

Thanks guys!

Re: How do I upload my family of customer engines?

As you go into sandbox - select engines, click on your engine family and click export. It will create a zip file in the "my documents/my games/automation/export" folder. You can then post them in the engine sharing forum, there's a thread for that.

Re: How do I upload my family of customer engines?

well, i've been looking for some engines for the open source thread (located here) and what you want to do is just go to the engines tab, start by clicking on sandbox.
Image
then go over to engines.
Image
then select the family you want to export, in my case it's engine family 13, after it's selected (signified by being a bit darker) you can then click export.
Image
you then want to navigate to your my games/automation/export and find the zip with your username and the name of the engine family.
Image
then from the engine sharing forums click new topic. (or on the thread i linked you, same location, just says post reply instead on the thread, and i felt no picture was needed.)

then from there fill out the thread title and description, and then scroll down and click upload attachment, navigate back to my games/automation/export, find the .zip again, and then select it, be sure to click the upload button that is circled in yellow, i made that mistake a few times myself
Image
then it should be uploaded

you probably went off track around the finding the zip, you must have WMFS (Washing Machine File System) i need tou to find 3 pipes attached to your computer, one will be labeled hot, the 2nd cold, and the 3rd dial-up, put the hot to 20% on, cold to 10% on, and dial up to 70% on, you should be having the zip file appear in your washing machine afterwards, just be sure to dry it under normal setting, DryOS, preinstalled on your dryer, should assist you with this
