so in automation i'm trying to make myself a 1990 super Luxury SUV in the made to order style (completely hand crafted interior) however i'm having trouble getting the market up (i'm aiming for luxury superior BTW) could it be rich people don't want the engine from a peasant truck? maybe i'm going too luxury? maybe they don't want 4WD? whatever it is, i'll ask you guys for tips, as the highest i got it up to is only 69.2 competitiveness

Use lots of quality sliders. Personally I'd also aim for Utility Sport Luxury.

Luxury Superior is a stupidly-hard one to get into. Quality sliders, an engine that doesn't compromise at all, hand crafted interior, luxury-grade entertainment, Advanced Safety, uber-comfortable suspension, as a minimum to make it. I've got one car in my lineup that makes it, and it was very hard to do.

Luxury Superior is Maybach territory, so spam quality and use a proper luxury car engine.

i shall, i'm sure they'd appreciate a fancy V12 over a standard truck engine

Yep, V12 will help. If it's done right, or at least, my experiences with it so far, by the time you get Luxury Superior, you'll also have a pretty good stake in the Hypercar department, too.

Oh, and remember, prestige is everything. Make that V12 as big as possible to make the most of the displacement prestige bonus.

ah, thanks for that tip, i think i fit like a 7 something liter V12 in the blazer body before, so i'll try to max it out

well i tried custom making a V12 for it, and i didn't get much of a gain, 69 to 71, and it was mainly through changing the quality slider of the interior, it's to a point where i'm happy at least, but i should probably stick to what i know

What's the body made out of? I made my Luxury Superior sedan with carbon fiber chassis and panels.

The footprint is also important. You need a BIG body to make it competitive
