Mid Engine cars

I am having trouble fitting engines of any size into a mid engine car setup(this only started this major update). For example a few months ago I had no problem fitting a 4.8L V8 into a mid longitudinal car set up, but after this major update I cannot fit any engine larger than a 1L into a car of the same setup. Has anyone else noticed this issue?

Re: Mid Engine cars

So what can you fit when you choose transverse?

Re: Mid Engine cars

i am able to fit about a 1.3L v8 max size, i think this may be because of how the game models the transmission.

Re: Mid Engine cars

AWD I assume then, yeah, no room for that really.
I can fit a giant 8.1 DOHC 5V engine into the back of the larger modern mid-engined supercar, so there is enough space if you go transverse RWD and choose MacPherson struts for your suspension. Try out different combinations to see what works.
