Re: Open Beta [B150918+] Feedback

I believe the best solution for the Economy tab is not to simply convert between liters and gallons based on what is selected in the Options menu, but to actually use a different set of equations based on what is selected in the Options menu.

The "different equations" would have to get to the same result though, so I don't really understand what you'd do with that.

I was thinking that with new equations it would automatically put things in the correct order without having to rearrange things on the Economy tab. I imagined wrong so never mind that.

I'm just concerned by the new gallons labels. I don't know if it's gallons per mile or gallons per 100 km, but I think anyone from the U.S. will agree it needs to be in mpg. Now, the patch notes said the Economy tab is still in progress, so I wasn't going to mention it this soon, but I thought I had a simple solution. Unfortunately it won't work.

Re: Open Beta [B150918+] Feedback

So now it appears that the test track tab displays data from the design tab along the bottom instead of the usual performance stats.

I don't think that I'm meant to have $0 for my running costs but I apologise in advance if this isn't a bug!

Re: Open Beta [B150918+] Feedback

I was working on a car. I wrapped up the engine and tried to move onto the trim section of the car editor, but the button was not working. I tried reloading the car and I got

---------------------------
Lua Error:
---------------------------
tolua++ dbcall failed!: [string "--client\functional\CarView.lua..."]:1948: attempt to index local 'EngineBayBounds' (a nil value)

and then it loaded the car, but the editor was all glitched out and I couldn't do anything.

It should be the only car in the folder. I named it the 0060.

Re: Open Beta [B150918+] Feedback

Thank you very much for adding the km/L (there shouldn't be an "s" on "Litres" in the Options menu btw). This will be very helpful.

I can confirm that the pink cars and the Rear Longitudinal issues are working now as of Update 4, except for the 1955 sedan with 2.69m/105.9", which wasn't listed in the patch notes. I went through each and ever body and style and didn't see any pink cars.

Re: Open Beta [B150918+] Feedback

I have found an issue. The Test track tab shows the information from the design tab and the Design tab shows the design information as well. In other words, test track stats are not available.

Other than that, the update is amazing. :)

Just came to post that as well.

Tried multiple cars, and hit start test to see if that would update it. It did not. Actual test track specs are nowhere to be found. ie 0-60, quarter mile, skidpad, etc.

Re: Open Beta [B150918+] Feedback

I still found these bugs that wasn't fixed for B150924

60s Patario bodies (2-Door and Wagon only) remains a full pink box.
(Wagon variant of the 60s Mid-Size Sedan has issues on morphing: if I morph the upper bonnet/hood, the rear passenger roof was affected as well.)
70s Mid-Size Wedge still had a pink defect.
70s Full-Size Wedge Sedan upper boot/trunk morph also morphes the lower section of a boot/trunk little bit, unlike 2-door and hatchback-wagon variant.
80s Hatch had morphing problems on 2-Door, 3-Door Group B, 5-Door variants.
80s Executive Convertible with plastic trim had different material in the side mirror.
90s Van (Colored Bumper) had lower bonnet/hood line than others and also pink bug.
2010s Swoopy front window angle was not same as public release (shorter than B150707).

In older versions we had thumbnails of created cars and engines. Can you give it back ? It was a nice feature in my opinion.

They're fictional and very general for now as far as I know. Not really any one region IRL you can equate them to.

:) It's not a bug but poor reporting on our part: you car has no cooling and thus melts on the starting line, so no running costs because you can't run it ;)
We'll add a warning about insufficient cooling.

They are on the to-do list, probably will be fixed today :)

I double checked my car and according to the slider infographic my car has sufficient cooling...

But I definitely like the idea of an in-game warning about cooling!
