Driver Assists

First off, my apologies if this is the wrong forum. I searched and this seems like the best place to stay out of the way but also ask a simple question.

Driver assists:

Are they on when you check the box, or off when you do that?

Thank you in advance. I searched the FAQ and google, and I couldn't seem to find any mention. I think an info box comes up, but on my display it is hidden behind the lower information bar, so I can;t see what it is saying when I modify my driver assist options, I imagine it is giving me this info but I can not see it.

They are on when the box is checked.

Or well, they get installed when the box is checked. If the box isn't checked it means the assist is not installed in the car.
