live chat broken for anyone else or just me?

i've been trying a few things over the last few days but the live chat is broken for me, cant control anything in the window, cant change name, cant connect?

whats going on?

Maybe try installing an actual IRC client?

Wrong answer, getting people to install IRC Clients just alienates people.

Something does seem to be a bit weird with the live chat, it is hopefully fixed now.

Just a suggestion.. I don't use an IRC client myself, but I rarely have problems, and when I do its usually just for a few minutes or an hour at most..

The fact that you are having this problem for several days would make me think its something wrong on your end.. maybe the browser you use?.. I dunno what else could cause those problems..

i was able to login and chat before, zeussy will vouch for that.

tried again today and still no luck :/ if all else fails ubuntu comes with xchat

might also help if i knew how the hell to connect to the live chat with external irc program

I was getting issues with the live chat, perhaps a forced refresh a few times (CTRL+F5) ?

tried, ill just give it a go on my laptop, feel kinda dumb for not thinking of that already
