Re: Introductions

Hi, my name is Sven, I live in Belgium and I'm 32 years old. I'm working for a car-leasing company and I'm a car- and motorfreak. In fact, I'm interested in everything that drives and flies.

I had a few spectacular cars (Nissan 100nx and a Alfa 147 distinctif 1.6 120hp), but not yet "the" car, that I most like: a Porsche 911. I also like American Muscle Cars... like most of us, I think.
Formula one is one of my other hobbies: I try to follow everything what has to do with F1.

So, that's it. I saw that the game is going verry well. If possible, I want to help you guy's with info etc...
Keep up the good work!

Re: Introductions

Hi all

I only just found your site! All I can say is THANK YOU for doing this! :)

I hope it is ok, but I put your details on the GPRM forum site (http://www.gprm.co.uk/forums/index.php) too. These guys have been developing their GP manager game for over around 10 years.

I also put your details on the ozmazdaclub.com site.

That might bring in some interest too :)

I can't wait to see/pay with the finished product! If you have LIST of purchasers, put me on it!

Re: Introductions

Greetings people, allow me to introduce myself.

Nickname: Fenris, from the great wolf of old norse mythology, unleashed upon the world at the end of days.

Location: Norway.

Occupation: Currently serving in the army as an ARV tank driver. Will however be done in a couple of months, and I'm hoping to enter the police academy.

What I drive: I've got a 1977 Chevrolet Corvette which I fiddle with, when I'm home that is. Got a 350 hp 383 stroker in it, and runs like a bat out of hell. For work, I shuffle around in a Leopard Mark II Bergepanzer. Twin supercharged 37.4 litre V-10.

Dream garage: 1972 Lamborghini Miura P400SV, 1971 Plymouth Barracuda 'Cuda with a HEMI, 1969 Chevrolet Corvette ZL-1, 2011 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 and 2006 Hummer H1. For a starter...

How I found you: I was looking around for a more technical and different car game, where the focus is on designing the vehicle from the ground up, instead of gluing on an ugly spoiler on the back and then race around in the streets with blue flames out of your exhaust. I was really, properly intruged by the concept, and just had to sign up.

Look foreward to seeing how this turns out, and maybe if I can offer a bit of support on the side as well.

Re: Introductions

You are most welcome Fenris! Also, when you're done with your service, take with you that engine as a souvenir and put it to some "real use" ;D Daffy just posted a video on this "issue" here: http://automationgame.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=213

Cheers!

Hehe, given that the whole drivetrain weights around 5 tonnes, I don't think they'll allow it as carry-on on the plane back home.
