Scenario Description:
It's 2014, and your pony car's platform has just been downsized to be more attractive and marketable to other countries around the world, it will still carry a V8 for the top of the line model, but the base model will receive a Turbo I4. It must reach the power levels of the old V6, but be careful not to come to close to the V8s output. Your company does not want to cut into it's sales. The keys here are responsiveness, cost, and economy.

Technical Limitations:
95 RON
Tech year 2010-2015
Emissions less than c
Power between A and B

Scenario Description:
It's 1978 and you're chief engine designer at a large European car manufacturer, and have just been set the task of designing an engine for their new hatchback. But you have been approached by a member of staff from rival Cossack motors. He has offered you a very large sum of money to "sabotage" the new engine. Knowing you could retire for life on this money, you accept. Your job now is to make a low power, fuel guzzling, undrivable engine.....................but you need it reliable enough to get out the factory so that the big bosses don't catch on until you hand in your resignation!But not so good as everyone loves the engine!

Thought this would be an intresting spin on the concept. Still the same principle involved, but totally reversed!

Scenario Description:
A small British manufacturer is approaching you to design a new engine for a top end version of their classic lightweight roadster named Hammercat. The engine is supposed to be the most powerful that has ever been in the car, but it still has to fulfill current economy regulations and preserve the character of the old Hammercat. Therefore, it has to be light, affordable and of course small enough to fit into the small chassis.

Scenario Description: Your company is willed to change the strategy from sporty image to an economical image. They want do build an economical luxury sedan. As the development should be fast, the managers decided to use an earlier engine as base, as it runs quite fine, but it's very thirsty and revvy.

Note: I tried it with a 2.7l-V8 (125kW @ 6300), which I modified to a 3.6l-V8 (125kW @ 5400). Economy got better from 275g/kWh down to 255g/kWh, while the MTTF rises from 650MRevs to 720MRevs. Just as example, there is no limitation in cylinders or aspiration.

We will now proceed with choosing the 16 best ideas, revamp/optimize them for better gameplay, and finally implement and polish them up for the revamp&turbo release.
